About Us

Something Borrowed, Something New Events will handle your hometown or destination wedding, corporate event, or special celebration with panache and style. Our tagline is “We put the WOW in your wedding” (or any celebration), and our goal is to provide you with a memorable event at competitive prices with a little something extra thrown in for good measure.

We are available to handle all of the details involved with putting on a beautiful event, or we’ll handle just those few details you’d prefer to pass along to someone else. If you’re getting married, we offer full service wedding planning and day of wedding coordination. And for the bride who prefers to handle her wedding on her own who simply needs to consult about a few details, we are also available on an hourly basis.

A little bit about Terri…..After many years of successfully coordinating various events for non-profit organizations, Terri made the decision in 2007 to open her own store front and Something Borrowed, Something New Events was born. Terri is a distinguished graduate of the Association of Bridal Consultants’ Professional Development Program and carries the designation Professional Bridal Consultant™ with this highly regarded association. She is also the current President of the New England Wedding Professionals Association and the owner of www.ExtraordinaryDestinationWeddings.com, a consortium of world class Wedding Planners located around the globe.

A little bit about Janice….Janice is our Corporate Events expert and she brings to the table years of experience planning events for Corporations as well as the Natick community. In 2009, Janice branched out into the wedding market, tackling the challenge with her typical aplomb and attention to detail. Perhaps Janice's greatest strength lies in her ability to build solid relationships by listening to our client's needs, her creative passion for making their vision a reality, and her sensitivity where the environment is concerned. Janice is also a member of New England Wedding Professionals.

A little bit about Patti…A lifelong learner, Patti brings an energetic enthusiasm to your event. With a background as varied as retail sales in Bridal, to set and costume design for a ballet company, her skill set helps create 'special' events. With an eye for detail and a commitment to creating a seamlessly coordinated affair, she is dedicated to helping you create your style. Patti is a member of NEWP and the 495 Wedding Group. Her own business Simply Done…. is noted for its calligraphy and custom designed needlework and accessories.

A little bit about Nikki….Nikki is the newest member of Something Borrowed, Something New Events, but she brings many years of experience in chairing and organizing various kinds of events in both business and non-profit organizations. Currently, Nikki has her own business, a local gift basket company named Bravo Baskets by Nikki that she has been operating for over 12 years, yet she also finds time to assist us with many of the different services that SBSN provides for our wedding couples. Her attention to detail, ability to work with all clients and problem solve, are just a few of the many skills Nikki brings to SBSN.

When you employ Something Borrowed, Something New Events, you will always have at least two planners who will work closely with you employing your ideas and wishes, so that you truly can have the wedding or event that you were hoping for. If you’re interested in hiring us for your wedding, one Planner will act as your personal assistant leading up to the ceremony and she will ensure that this part of the wedding day is flawless. A second Planner acts as your liaison with vendors and ensures the reception is set up perfectly to your specifications. Every detail will be addressed by us and all that’s left for you to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy every moment of your very special day.

So there’s a little information about us, but what’s far more interesting is finding out about you. What brings you joy? What dreams do you have? Where do your passions lie?
